Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said he was glad that the family members of legendary freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose would meet him at his official 7, Race Course Road (RCR) residence here in October.
"There is something I am very happy to share. In May, I went to Kolkata where I met the family of Subhash Babu. I wanted to invite the entire family of Subhash Chandra Bose to my residence and in October over 50 family members will come to 7, RCR," said Prime Minister Modi while addressing the nation in the 12th edition of his 'Mann Ki Baat' programme.
"It is a matter of joy for me that I can host this family (Bose family) at my residence. They are coming from various nations," he added.

His announcement comes at a time when the West Bengal government has declassified 65 files related to Bose and his disappearance in 1945.
Later, in his radio speech, Modi mentioned how Bose had made radio a powerful tool to reach out to people by launching the Azad Hind Radio.
