Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today launched a polio immunisation campaign on the occasion of National Immunisation Day by administering polio drops to children.
The immunisation campaign would be carried out in 13 districts of the state from July 2 to 4.
These districts included Panchkula, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Faridabad, Palwal, Gurugram, Nuh, Yamunanagar, Rohtak and Jhajjar.
He said that 1,258 booths have been set up and 109 mobile teams have been constituted for the purpose.
Similarly, 123 transit points have been identified and as many as 254 supervisors have been deputed to make this campaign a success, he added.

Civil Surgeon, Gurugram, Dr B K Rajora said that 3,34,065 children below five years of age would be covered under the campaign.
