The workshops will help Chennai-based customers and speed up repair works of vehicles damaged in floods. Dealers are operating mobile vans to attend to customers at their residences.
The company has provided additional space and technicians to the dealers for speedy turnout of vehicles. The company has also given top priority to supply of parts to Chennai dealers, a company statement said.
The company has also rolled out a toll free helpline number 0124-6628111 to cater to customers in Chennai.
The car marker has said it has already reached out to more than 8,000 of its customers in Chennai through SMS, emails and social media to inform them about the services and re-opening of workshops.
Customers are also given tips through social media on how to avoid consequential damages which may not be covered under insurance.
Nissan is also planning to organise a servicing camp in Chennai for its customers. The camp will provide from check-up of vehicles to additional discount facilities on Nissan Genuine Accessories.
