NSRCEL announces 'next big idea' competition

The top two entries of the competition get to participate in the Intel Global Challenge to be held at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) funded by N S Raghavan, co-founder of Infosys, at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) is organising national business plan competition between May 20th and May 22nd, 2013 at IIMB for young entrepreneurs. The competition sponsored and supported by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology and Intel India will select three innovative teams through the competition.

The top two entries of the competition get to participate in the Intel Global Challenge to be held at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

The cost of participating in the global challenge is borne by Intel and Department of Science & Technology.

NSRCEL has selected 32 teams to participate in the pre-final and will be further narrowed down to 10 teams to present at the final. The top three teams will be identified at the end of the finals and will be announced in June 2013, a statement said.

"NBI is a national level business plan competitions that provide students with a platform to blossom into entrepreneurs.

The top two entries of the competition get to participate in the Intel Global Challenge to be held at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley," NSRCEL said.

NSRCEL's incubator has so far supported 45 fledgling enterprises over the last 10 years.

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning Incubator is open to all entrepreneurs and is sector agnostic.
