Mineral-rich Chhattisgarh state would be celebrating its fifteenth Foundation Day on November 1 that would exhibit state's growth since its inception.
The foundation day celebration would be of three days that would mark a gala commemoration of Chhattisgarh's inception. The event would be held at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Udyog and Vyapaar Parisar in the Naya Raipur - the upcoming new capital city of the state. Parab Chhattisgarh will be the Cultural theme of 'Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava - 2014, Santosh Mishra, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board said.
The theme would showcase varied traditional and cultural heritage of the state spread across in three days.
The organisers said that the event would bring together varied successful flavours of the state onto a common platform inviting visitors from across the globe to experience the best of Chhattisgarh. 'Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava - 2014' will not only host its cultural, artistic and intellectual heritage, but will also welcome the representation of other states. The event will also see commendations being bestowed on notable personalities who will be awarded with 'Chhattisgarh State Honours-2014'.

A melange of cultural presentation of the varied ethnic and tribal traditions of the state, Parab (means festival) will open with a traditional dance presentation that will see representation of local artists from over 35 tribes on Saturday. The event will see a culmination of celebrations via a traditional instruments featured musical concert by nearly 200 artists curated from all across the state on November 3.
