Ready to share cost of rail eco toilets: Ramesh

Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh has stated his ministry is ready to share half the cost of introducing eco-friendly toilets in Indian Railways coaches. Ramesh, who inspected the bio-digester based eco-friendly toilets at New Delhi Railway Station on Thursday, said all new coaches (about 5,000 a year) would have eco-toilets in two to three years.
