Royal Enfield has said that production loss due to rains in Chennai is around 4000 units.
In a statement the company said that the unprecedented rainfall in Chennai has severely affected the city including employees, company's manufacturing facilities and offices.
The floods caused by the rain have also impacted logistics and supply-chain, resulting in disruption of company's production. The company had shut down its offices in the city and its plants in Thiruvottiyur and Oragadam since December 1.

"Due to the rains, in November we lost 4000 motorcycles. We are working to ensure that all our employees are safe. We are monitoring the situation closely and hoping for normalcy to return soon," said the company.
