State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with state industry minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, will embark on a five-day business trip to China from Sunday on a special invitation from Communist Party of China.
Chouhan will be meet leading business groups and company heads to seek investments for faster development of Madhya Pradesh. “We hope the trip will be successful under leadership of our chief minister and we will attract more investment from China,” Yashodhara Raje Scindia told Business Standard.
Chouhan will address a business seminar titled ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh’ at Beijing on Monday organised by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products. He will showcase major initiatives and policy benefits of state government.
He will also hold one-to-one meeting with heads of leading Chinese companies and invite them to invest in Madhya Pradesh. The chief minister will meet business leaders at another seminar on ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh’ organised by Confederation of Indian Industries.
