External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is undergoing treatment at All Indian Insititute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital for kidney failure.
Giving an update on her health condition, Swaraj tweeted, "I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless."
Her history of chronic diabetes has affected her kidney functioning, sources had said.
She was admitted to AIIMS on November 7 and is being monitored by a team of doctors.
She has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years.
The 64-year-old BJP leader was admitted to AIIMS in April also when she underwent treatment for pneumonia and other health issues.
