Tamil Nadu adds 5,652 Covid cases, 983 in Chennai alone

Tamil Nadu added 5,652 Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours. Of these, 983 are from Chennai.

According to the State Health Department 82,644 persons were tested and 5,768 patients were discharged. 

Fifty-seven deaths were reported during the last 24 hours. taking the total count to 8,559.

Total number of cases in Tamil Nadu stood at 519,860, while 464,668 patients have been discharged so far.
