Telangana reported 1,802 new
COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 1,42,771 while nine more deaths pushed the toll to 895, the state government said.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 245, followed by Rangareddy (158), Karimnagar (136) and Siddipet (106) districts, a bulletin said on Monday, providing data as of 8 pm on September 6.
The cumulative recovered cases stood at 1,10,241 while 31,635 are under treatment.
As many as 36,593 samples were tested on September 6.
Cumulatively, 17,66,982 samples have been tested.
The samples tested per million population was 47,594, the bulletin said.
The case fatality rate in the state was 0.62 per cent, while it was 1.70 per cent at the national level.

The recovery rate in Telangana was 77.2 per cent, while it was 77.25 per cent in the country.
The number of individuals in home/institutional isolation was 24,596.
It said sufficient beds were available in government hospitals. Based on the clinical requirements, beds will be provided and treatment will be given free of cost in government hospitals.
Sufficient quantities of personal protection equipment (PPE) and medicines were available in hospitals, it said.
