Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said India could provide all kinds of services the world would require by 2025, if it looked beyond IT and ITeS (information technology and information technology- enabled services).
"For years, we have limited ourselves thinking probably it is only the IT, ITeS sectors that can spread the country's name abroad. Successive governments have forgotten the country has limitless capabilities in providing world-class services to the world," Modi said, while inaugurating the Global Exhibition on Services.
Adding, "We will now promote yoga in a more scientific way, in its own indigenous form. Similarly, we can teach the world the knowledge of music."
He said the government would undertake measures to ensure "brain drain is turned into brain gain".
