Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale alleged Indian skipper Virat Kohli, senior player Yuvraj Singh and the team of fixing the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against Pakistan. Twitter users could not stop themselves from reacting to this outrageous allegation made by the minister.

Speaking to media, Athawale attacked captain Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh with 'match-fixing' charges and went to demand an inquiry on the final match. 'How can our batsmen who played well in the earlier match bow to Pakistan in the final?' questioned the Union Minister who also demanded 'Dalit' reservation in the team.

“In the match against Pakistan, someone like Virat Kohli who scores a century so often and other accomplished players like Yuvraj Singh who have scored so many runs in the past, looked like they were playing to lose," said the politician from Maharashtra, according to NDTV.

The win was Pakistan's first ICC title triumph since their 2009 World Twenty20 win. After losing to Pakistan by massive 180 runs, the Indian team had to face enormous criticism from fans, former cricketers and now politicians as well.

Twitterati reacted in their oddest way to this accusation. Few users braced minister’s statement while others simply jeered him. Others took him sardonically. Here's how Twitter reacted to this:
