Two gunmen open fire at a private school in Pakistan

Two armed men, trying to enter a school in Pakistan's Punjab province,  and opened fire on Monday, injuring a school guard.

Their bid was, however, thwarted by security personnel who rushed to the spot at the earliest.

Panic and fear gripped people as two armed men tried to enter a private school in Haroonabad area of Bahawalnagar, Express News reported.

According to reports, the men opened fire as they tried to enter the school. However, heavy contingents of police reached the site and the gunmen fled.

All students were safely evacuated from the school. The school guard was reportedly injured during the gunfire.
