Mumbai's new integrated terminal opened its doors for passengers today.
Passengers for afternoon departures drove to the terminal as early as 7 am fearing traffic jams due to rasta roko by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
"We hope people of Mumbai and India enjoy the T2," GVK vice chairman Sanjay Reddy said on Wednesday.
"There has been a lot of effort involved in the construction and preparedness. It is a learning process. Everything we did was by imagination and design. In a complex building there could be a few glicthes. We are ready to provide service. The next 24-48 hours will be crucial for us," he added.
