'Advani's remarks does not befit his status'

The opposition leader's remark that BJP would renegotiate the Indo-US deal if voted to power drew a sarcastic remark from the Chief Minister, in an article in his party mouthpiece 'Murasoli'.    

"Advani's remarks remind me of a story by my mentor, C N Annadurai, that only the mother-in-law and not the daughter-in-law has the right to give alms to a beggar," he said.    

He exuded confidence that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would come out successful in the confidence motion.
