The tenth Arab International Plastics and Rubber Industry Trade Show and Conference,  ArabPlast 2011, the Middle East's leading trade expo for rubber, plastics and petrochemicals, is expected to see a record participation from Indian companies, with over 100 Indian companies having confirmed their participation.

The ArabPlast 2011 will be held from January 8 - 11, 2011, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The 2011 edition of the event is actively supported by the All-India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and government bodies like Plastics Export Promotion Council (Plexconcil) and EEPC India.

The event is being jointly organised by Al Fajer Information and Services, Dubai and German exhibition organizer Messe DusselDorf.

The ArabPlast summit, to be run concurrently with the exhibition, will discuss key challenges facing the growth of the raw plastics and petrochemicals in the GCC region.

The All-India Plastics Manufactures Association is organising a conference titled ‘India – Global Hub of Plastics’, which would focus on the emerging opportunities in the country in the plastics sector.
