The Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), which is investigating the 2G spectrum allocation scam, will summon former telecom minister A Raja for the first time after he was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in February last year. Both JPC and the Public Accounts Committee are investigating the role of Raja and several top bureaucrats in the 2G case. While former telecom secretary Sidharth Behura has been summoned by JPC on April 11 when the parliamentary committee will meet next, Raja has not been given a date yet. He is expected to be called a few days after Behura.
