Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd Director Karim Morani, an accused in the 2G spectrum case, today appeared before a Delhi court and filed his regular bail application.

Special CBI Judge OP Saini took Morani's bail plea into record and listed the matter for arguments on May 26.

The court has yesterday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of Morani and had directed him to appear before it today.

It had said that "coercive process" would be applied if Morani fails to appear before it today.

The court is likely to pronounce its order on the bail plea of Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa and Director of Kusegaon Fruits ansd Vegetables Pvt Ltd, Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal later in the day.

The court had earlier dismissed Morani's anticipatory bail plea on medical ground, saying that as per May 19 reports received from the department of Cardiology and Neurosurgery of Mumbai's JJ Hospital, his condition is "stable and normal".

The court had also said that proper medical facilities are available in Tihar Jail itself and if an undertrial/prisoner requires any further treatment, he is immediately taken to RML Hospital or AIIMS, as per the requirement of the situation.
