The US indices ended on a slightly subdued note amid fresh fears of inflation. The Dow Jones industrial average was down 16 points at 11,527. The Nasdaq moved up 1 point at 2229.Indian ADRs mostly ended with gains. HDFC Bank rallied 2.6% to $59.29. ICICI Bank and MTNL added 1.5% each to $28.72 and $6.81, respectively. Patni Computers was up 1% at $19.25. The crude oil futures for October delivery slipped 75 cents to settle at $63.22 per barrel on the NYMEX.
