Air-India (AI) has taken three more Airbus' A310s on lease from Singapore Airlines for introduction of direct flights to south east destinations, including Hong Kong and Kuala Lampur, from New Delhi and Mumbai."The aircraft have been taken on lease for a three-year period, and would join the fleet by July 15," an AI official said today.With the three new aircraft, the airline has taken on lease five Boeing 747-400s and 14 A310s to expand its services even as the board is to meet within the next fortnight to decide on its fleet plan of 50 long haul jets.
