CSE analysis titled ‘Kanpur City Dialogue on Air Quality and Transportation Challenge: An Agenda for Action’ was released today in the city. The meeting was jointly organised by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (PCB) and CSE and addressed by chairperson of the Supreme Court’s Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA). Bhure Lal.

Recent assessments by Central PCB and Kanpur IIT showed that 22 per cent of killer particles were from vehicles.
