India already has a strong presence in the AFZ and around 70 per cent of the total 1,000 companies registered there are from the country, Shaali said on Friday.
The AFZ, located in the Emirate of Ajman, one of the seven states of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was set up in 1988 and was granted autonomous status.
