The previous Delhi government may have been criticized for "high" power tariffs, but almost every household in the state had access to electricity in 2012.

According to a report  derived  from 69th round of National Sample  Survey Office (NSSO) released today, 99 per cent  household in urban Delhi had electricity in 2012. The report covered a survey carried  out between July-December, 2012.

At all-India level, 97.9 per cent of urban households had access to electricity.
