Expressing concern over the flood situation in as many as four districts of the state, Former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today revealed that he would meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tomorrow to seek adequate compensation of the flood affected areas.
"I along with party MLAs of flood affected areas, will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tomorrow and apprise him with the flood situation in the state", Amarinder told reporters here.
A central team has already visited the flood affected areas and working out the adequate financial relief, Former Chief Minister said demanding that in the meantime the state government should spend out of the Natural Calamity fund of Rs 1646 crore, lying ideal with the state government.
"I think the state government must have bungled with the fund natural calamity also, that was why, not a single penny was spent out the fund earmarked for the purpose", Amarinder alleged.
