Despite being on fast for the last five days, anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare's vital health parameters are "stable", doctors attending on him said today.
Ace heart specialist Dr Naresh Trehan and a team of doctors did a complete examination of Hazare to check his blood pressure, level of electrolytes, heart beat and pulse rate.
"We have done a complete examination of Anna in the morning and also in the evening. His vital parameters like blood pressure, electrolytes' level, heart beat are stable," Trehan said after checking the 73-year-old Gandhian.
There was no "danger point" so far even after 100 hours of fasting but the doctors have to keep a close watch on the health parameters of Hazare, Trehan said.
He said his team of doctors will be stationed there to conduct regular checks.
A team of 36 doctors, assisted by Trehan, would be monitoring the health of Hazare round the clock during his hunger strike.
