India’s first anti-ragging bus, 'Bus Aur Nahin', launched by Muthoot Pappachan Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), reached here on Monday. The bus began its journey on August 11 from Delhi.

‘Bus Aur Nahin’ would travel across campuses as part of the month-long nationwide anti-ragging awareness campaign.

“In the past decade a total of over 250 ragging cases have been reported. We have received good response so far, with more than 10,000 signatures from students, who have pledged that they will not rag their juniors," Thomas George Muthoot, director, MPG, said in a press release.

The bus would travel across 11 cities including Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Kochi, and Chennai. "It will be supported with two short public service films that will be telecast over major national news and youth-focused channels.
