According to P K Mohanty, the executive director of Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Andhra Pradesh won eight awards of the total of 36 awards given away by the union ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions. Of these eight awards, the CGG alone bagged five awards, he disclosed at a press meet here.
Tamil Nadu with six and Maharashtra and the centre with four each stood in the second and third places. Gujarat, Karnataka and the National Capital of Delhi were two awards each, Mohanty said.
