The Andhra Pradesh government is targeting to attract an investment of Rs 15,000 crore by the year 2010. |
Apart from offering a host of incentives, the government is also formulating a blueprint to showcase resources available in the state to woo prospective investors as part of its effort to achieve the target. |

A high-level delegation, led by chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, is also embarking on a week-long tour to Israel, Dubai and Cairo next month, to invite major industrial groups to invest in industries and infrastructure development in the state. |

"With the experiences of his China trip and the benefits that will accrue from the upcoming visit to the three countries, the chief minister is confident that his government will be in a position to further fine tune its efforts to promote industrial investment and strengthen rural economy," an official press release stated here on Thursday. |

During his visit, the chief minister expects to meet Abu Dhabi president Rasal Khema and the ministers of information technology and agriculture in Israel and Dubai. |

He is also scheduled to consult Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) and representatives of the Emmar group of Dubai, which is developing a golf course at the Hitec City here. |

The chief minister's delegation consists of agriculture minister N Raghuveera Reddy, major industries minister Botcha Satyanarayana, advisors to state government D A Somayajulu and Peter Hasan, and principal secretaries K V Rao, D K Panwar and Lakshmi Parathasarathi. |

Apart from wooing industrialists, the major objectives of the visit are to study the latest farm practices in Israel, explore new technologies being adopted in major infrastructure projects and to develop mutual cooperation in the fields of information technology and IT-enabled services. |

The chief minister will also interact with the local Telugu community and associations during the trip. |
