Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu informed the delegates attending the CII Partnership Summit, which began at Visakhapatnam on Sunday, that his government was trying to take the state to the number one position in the country in terms of ease of doing business.
"Each one of you should sign an MoU with us here and now and think of a project afterwards. Any project that you set up in Andhra Pradesh would fetch you more profits besides having the benefit of quick approvals and other industry-friendly policies," Naidu said.
Visibly happy over an impressive presence of some of the top people from government and industry on the stage and in front of the podium, Naidu announced that the next partnership summit would also be held in AP and that too in Visakhapatnam.
Naidu said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong leadership had provided the required impetus for high economic growth. " With some more steps India will again reach the double-digit growth path. Andhra Pradesh will act as a trendsetter by creating a competition among the states to achieve better economic performance. This will enable the country to increase its growth," Naidu said.
