The proposed one-day total strike on June 20 by Apcob employees, as part of intensifying the agitation for achieving several demands including wage revision, has been postponed, according to a release here.
Consequent to the discussions held with the managing director of Apcob, the representatives of APBEF saw positive response and decided to defer the on-going agitation to enable the management to re-examine the demands. The APBEF advised Apcob joint action committee accordingly to comply with its decision.
Earlier, it planned a hunger strike on June 17 and a total strike on June 20, the latter being postponed. The demands include revocation of illegal suspensions, continuing zonal offices and immediate wage revision etc.
