Singapore does not think that Asean will face same sorts of problem as the European Union is confronting, since goals of both the blocs are different. “We will make our share of mistakes,” Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said. He said while the EU aimed at single market, single economy, a single currency kind of union, Asean does not have any such goal.
