Most of the Asian market indices are hovering around previous close levels.The Nikkei ended with a gain of 74 points at 17,164. While the Shanghai index surged over 1% to 2960, the Hang Seng index was almost unmoved at 19,179.The Straits Times index was up 10 points at 3133, while the Taiwan Weighted index was down six points at 7568. The Shanghai index was down 10 points at 2918.The KLSE Composite index has gained 0.8% at 1197. The Straits Times has advanced 14 points to 3136. The Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted indices are marginally in red at 1419 and 7564, respectively.
