Asian markets firm, Nikkei ends up 3%

 The Hang Seng has gained 729 points at 21,116.

The Straits Times index has rallied 139 points to 3270, and the Seoul Composite index has advanced 77 points to 1714. The Taiwan Weighted has zoomed 391 points to 8481.
