Asian markets have dropped sharply on the back of weak cues from the US markets. Wall Street ended weak last night amid fears of worsening sub-prime losses.The Hang Seng has plunged 1,077 points to 27,674. The Nikkei has shed 327 points to 15,069.The Taiwan Weighted index has tumbled 196 points to 8709. The Straits Times index has slipped 67 points to 3411, and the Seoul Composite index has declined 49 points to 1899.The Shanghai Composite index has dropped 92 points to 5273.
