The Nikkei has gained 187 points at 16,200.The Taiwan Weighted has surged 128 points to 8771. The Straits Times index has advanced 34 points to 3369, and the Seoul Composite index has added 11 points to 1838.The Shanghai Composite index has moved up 41 points to 5150.
