Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah said a meeting of the state Legislative Assembly and Council would specifically be convened to condole the death of former chief minister, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, he said that he would discharge his duty as chief minister sincerely as per the wishes of the Congress high command till the Congress Legislature Party elects a new leader.
Rosaiah, who is functioning from the chambers of the finance minister even after becoming the chief minister, also asked the officials not to restrict traffic for long while he was travelling.
The chief minister held a review meeting on the water levels in major irrigation projects in the state and asked officials to utilise 310 tmc of water from Nagarjunasagar and Srisailam projects for meeting the drinking water needs in villages.
He also released Rs 1 crore for undertaking measures to curb the spread of swine flu.
