Centuries of wisdom compiled in Islamic books kept on the first floor library of the Dar-ul-uloom are unable to guide clerics (ulemas) in finding a way out of the Ayodhya imbroglio. The library contains various miniature Holy Qurans, a mute testimony to the perseverance and enterprise of devout Muslims.

There are even reference books offering guidelines on what a true Muslim should do if a dog slips into a well. But all these books become irrelevant when it comes to dealing with the avarice of politicians, which the Ayodhya is seen to represent.
