Bihar will showcase itself as the "land of boundless opportunities" during the 29th India International Trade Fair (IITF) beginning here from November 14. This will be done through Bihar Pavilion where stalls of Madhubani, Mithila and Godna paintings, Madhubani Sari, Suzni work Sari, Laah-Churi will be the main attractions. It will also showcase Bihar's special delicacies including Litti-chokka, Tilkut and Laai, official sources said today.
Addressing a press conference here, Rashmi Verma, Principal Secretary, Bihar Tourism said all of the state's tourism circuits like Buddhist circuit, Jain, Tirthankar circuit, Islamic/Sufi circuit, Sikh circuit Ramayana circuit, Gandhi circuit and Nature and Wild Life circuit will be showcased in the theme hall of Bihar pavilion.
Atish Chandra, Chairman of Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam said the theme hall will be decorated with the state's vision for this year "Bihar-Wisdom-Faith-Science (Gyan Aastha aur Vigyan).
A road show named 'Opportunity Bihar' will be organised in the pavilion besides focusing on the achievements of Bihar government in the last few years. Industrial Development Commissioner of the state A K Sinha said Bihar is the next frontier for business in India, both as an investment destination and an untapped market.
