The government has decided to pass the Lok Pal Bill and the controversial bill granting reservation to women in Parliament and state legislatures in the current session of Parliament.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Srikant Jena yesterday said that an all-party meeting was being convened on April 5 to discuss the Womens Reservation Bill.
He said that the government had kept the percentage of reservation for women open for suggestions from various parties.
The standing committee report on the Lok Pal Bill is expected to be presented in both the Houses of Parliament by April 9.
