The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), part of the Opposition in Parliament, has demanded the next Parliament session be convened within a week in the wake of the Washington Post article that the Indo-US nuclear deal would be revoked if India tested a nuclear weapon.
Senior BJP leaders Yaswant Sinha and Arun Shourie said that the party would also move a privelege motion against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for having mislead Parliament and the country on the nuclear deal.
Parliament in scheduled to meet in the third week of October.
