BJP has hired two reputed advertising agencies to get across its message on television, radio FM channels and the print media to woo voters in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"Two companies, Frank Simoes-Tag and Utopia, have prepared the campaign advertisements for BJP which will be used on television, radio FM channels and the print media from March 16 on wards," BJP spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh told reporters today.

The party will also use SMSes to contact the voters. "There are 35 crore mobile users in the country," Siddharth said, explaining the move.

Noted lyricist and adman Prasoon Joshi reportedly has a major share in Frank Simoes-Tag. BJP has roped in Utopia for the second time. Its survey, predictions and campaign advertisements in the November assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh were found satisfactory by the party.

"The slogan 'majbooth neta, nirnayak sarkar' (strong leader, decisive government) was coined by us after a sample survey was conducted by these agencies," Siddharth said.

BJP conducted the survey among around 30,000 people from A, B and C group districts across the country.

"The survey showed that when people were asked about NDA, they said L K Advani was the right prime ministerial candidate while for UPA they gave three candidates - Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Manmohan Singh," Siddharth said.
