The BJP workers, shouting anti-UPA slogans, condemned the UPA, alleging that it had resorted to 'unethical means' to win the trust motion.

BJP's H T Sangliana (Bangalore North), Manjunath Kunnur (Dharwad South) voted in favour of the UPA government while Manorama Madhwaraj (Udupi) abstained from voting.

Another BJP MP from Chikmaglur D C Srikantappa was absent due to ill health.

BJP sources here said that the party took a a stern view of those who had cross voted and said that such MPs had no "moral right" to continue in the party. It amounted to betraying the people who had elected them.

The party was planning to hold a state-office bearers meeting on July 26 to take stock of the issue of those who cross voted and abstained from voting during the crucial trust vote, which led to UPA government's victory.
