Terming the UPA government’s move to allow foreign direct investment (FDI) in retail sector as a tool to kill domestic traders, senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi on Sunday said his party will oppose the bill if tabled in the upcoming winter session of the parliament.
“If FDI in retail sector is allowed, then small traders will lose their jobs as their product or services will not be competitive compared with foreign traders. BJP will oppose such move of the government in and outside the parliament,” Joshi said at a press meet here.
