In its outlook for the week, Brics PCG says that last week, the propensity on the way down was stronger and faster then the upswing witnessed in the last six weeks."Post five weeks of upswing the downtrend had set in last week and the same will continue to make inroads in the weeks ahead. The week ahead will continue to remain volatile with a downward bias; the daily trend has also turned negative which will sustain the downward pressure on the index", says the report.Adding that, a decisive breakout below 9902 will open avenue for 9589-9368. A decisive upward breakout above 10440 only will see the index higher, but probability for the same stands low. Hurdles for the Sensex this week will be at 10,249-10,356-10,464; Supports will be witnessed at 9,923-9,816-9,708.
