Bridal Asia, a one-stop bridal fashion shop, targeted at the Rs 5,000 crore bridal wear market, is set to transcend the boundaries of India.
Divya Gurwara, creator of Bridal Asia said, possibilities of taking the exposition to the middle east and neighbouring countries are being explored.
A mix of outfits from leading designers in India and outside, Bridal Asia showcases the bridal apparel needed to transform a trousseau from a routine wedding requirement.

The exposition is being held for the first time in Kolkata on January 31 and February 1. Bridal Asia, which started in 1999 with 40 participants and 10,000 visitors in Delhi has now become an annual extravaganza with over 80 participants and over 28,000 visitors over three days in 2001. The 2002 Bridal Asia Delhi was spread over 29,000 square feet.
Gurwara said, in Kolkata there will be around 27 stalls and the charge for each stall for two days is Rs 81,000.
