The union cabinet today deferred a decision on selling equity in BHEL and Maruti.The cabinet could not take a final decision in this regard, official sources said after the meeting.Earlier this week, the government had decided to sell 10% equity in BHEL and 7.5% shares of Maruti Udyog to raise close to Rs 2,500 crore.
