The Union Cabinet today finalised the address of President Pratibha Patil to the joint sitting of Parliament on February 12, which is expected to highlight the achievements of the UPA government.
A meeting of the Cabinet chaired by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee approved the draft of the President's address.
With Lok Sabha elections not far away, the address is expected to highlight the achievements of the coalition government in the last five years and unveil its future plans.
In the brief session having ten sittings, the interim Rail budget would be presented on February 13 and the interim General Budget on February 16.
