Cannes 2011: India claims second gold

India claimed its second gold on the fourth day of the Cannes Advertising Festival. This came in the design category for Mother’s Pride brand by Delhi-based agency Out of the Box.

There were four more wins in design – three silvers and a bronze – that went to Mudra and TBWA India. Mudra bagged two silvers for Electrolux and a public service advert titled Dwarf Depression respectively, while the bronze was bagged for its work for client Ayurveda Research Labs.

TBWA’s silver came for its work for Yatra Online.

In the press category, India took home two silver and two bronze lions respectively.

The silvers went to McCann Worldgroup and Ogilvy India,while the bronze went to Grey and Mudra respectively.

In all, nine trophies were added on day four of the festival, taking India’s tally to 20. This includes two gold, 10 silver and eight bronze lions.
