The government is just a whisker away from realising Rs 100,000 crore in revenue receipts in the current fiscal. As on November 24, the Centre has mopped up Rs 99,000 crore in net receipts.
According to senior finance ministry officials, the government is still short of Rs 3,000 crore compared to Rs 102,000 crore net receipts realised during the corresponding period last fiscal.
